Lessons

Private Piano Lessons

In addition to learning proper piano technique, performance and improvisation skills, students in private lessons also develop ear training and sight reading skills. Students sharpen their musicianship skills further by learning analysis, music theory and, of course, the ability to tell a story through music. Students may study jazz, classical or recreational music. Selected students may participate in the prestigious ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) graded practical and theory exams. 30-minute or 60-minute lessons available. Audition/Interview Required.

Private Composition Lessons

In private composition lessons, students explore their own creativity, while learning form, melodic development, basic to advanced harmony and proper notation. Depending on their experience, students may focus solely on composition or combine composition with private piano lessons. Audition Required.

Group Piano Class

Elementary students, with at least 1 year of piano experience, can explore creating music in a group setting. This group experience helps student further develop their note-reading, rhythmic and listening skills. Students in group classes enjoy the added benefit of choreography. Interview Required.
